Watermelon and Fresh Mozzarella Skewer
- 8 oz. Sorrento® Fresh Mozzarella, cut in pieces
- 1 small Seedless Watermelon
- Kosher or Sea Salt
- 1/2 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 pack 4 - Inch Skewers/Toothpicks
Use a melon baller or slice pieces of watermelon. Then alternate Sorrento® Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, watermelon slice and another piece of cheese on each skewer. Prepare a balsamic glaze by bringing balsamic vinegar and sugar to a boil in a small sauce pan. Reduce the heat and simmer until glaze thickens. Sprinkle skewers lightly with salt and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
